Wonderful food! I got the shrimp crepe with tarragon cream sauce. Delicious. My husband got the Mediterranean beef stew. He loved it. We also got the dolmas salad appetizer. Excellent. This place is an unpretentious small restaurant where you pick out your own table and order at the counter. The food is brought to the table. It was a great experience and we plan to go back.

We had a lovely meal at Mosaic tonight. My wife had the Salmon Salad which chocked full of fresh vegetable and had a large well cook piece of salmon on the side. I had the Lamb and Vegetable Couscous. The plate was stacked high with carrots, zucchini, winter squash, eggplant, red pepper and turnips and was loaded with tender braised lamb. All served over couscous in a rich, flavorful sauce. Both dishes were fresh tasting and very satisfying. The service was friendly and informed and the no-frills dining room felt like eating in a good friends house. I totally recommend Mosaic for a reasonably priced meal.

I recently dined at Mosaic Cafe in Northampton, and it was a fantastic experience! It was summer so I ate al fresco on the front porch. The cafe's relaxed atmosphere paired perfectly with its authentic Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered a delightful blend of savory chicken and sweet almonds wrapped in flaky pastry. For my main course, I had lamb, which was tender, flavorful, and served with a beautifully spiced sauce. Each bite was a taste of North Africa, and I anticipate an early return. Highly recommend this spot! Update: I returned since then with a friend and have more photos to share here.

Me and my mom decided to try this place while visiting Northampton. We knew nothing about the town and thought this place looked nice. I got the Atlas Stew and my mom got the Lamb Marrakech Stew. The stews came out piping hot just from the stove, and at first bite were absolutely delicious. They gave us lots of food and we ate all of it even though we couldn’t fit it all in our stomachs. Very friendly staff, and we even got to talk to the chef, who was very kind. Next time we visit, we will be bringing our whole family!

Exceeded expectations. They have very authentic preparations and my first dish (chicken stew) transported me back to some finer moments growing up. I live in Boston but will come back just to try their food again.

Busy little place, food is incredible, generous portions, vegetarian & gluten free options. Took drinks outside, relaxed & enjoyed the quiet side street ambience while waiting for our food, definitely worth the wait. Staff, though clearly super busy on a holiday weekend, were friendly & eager to be helpful. Staff seem eager to help each other too, very nice to witness!!

Ordered the very delicious Mosaic Atlas Stew. I think of it as a Moroccan Tagine. My partner enjoyed the very large and tasty falafel sandwich/ pocket bread.
